Why your business needs a mobile app

1. Impatient Customers

Today's customers expect convenience. They prefer to do businesses, with businesses that make their lives easy for them. Mobile ordering apps are the ultimate in ease. Customers can browse your menu and order from you from the comfort of their own pockets, rather than stand in a queue.

2. Cost of staff

Staff cost money. A mobile app means you can serve more customers with the same staff. For waiting staff, the mobile app cuts down 50% of the trips needed to a table, for counter staff it can reduce the average transaction time by 80%.  Use the time to serve more customers or save your costs.

3. Compete with the big brands

Most big brands are using Mobile Apps. Starbucks, Weatherspoons, McDonalds are some examples. And customers LOVE their apps. What that means for you is greater reason for your customers to go elsewhere. A mobile app puts you on the same level playing field.

4. Customers want discounts!

Modern customers expect REWARDS. The right mobile app will come included with a great reward system. Points based systems where customers earn and redeem points with you are the best. Offering rewards schemes keeps customers coming back!

5. Reduce commissions

Mobile ordering apps are available with 0% commissions. If you use a food portal then as customers arrive, you can point them at your mobile app, reward them with free points to use your app and you can make huge savings.

6. Create a great customer experience

Mobile apps can create outstanding, even magical experiences for your customers. Imagine finishing your drinks and your just re-order straight away, no need to wait for a waiter. Or you get to skip the queue as you pre-ordered, all whilst earning points in the processes. Great customer experiences = revenue.

In 2018, for the first time in years, more restaurants closed than opened. The reason? Cost. Too many restaurants are finding it hard to keep costs down.

So the focus is now on maximising profits.

Which is where your own Table Mobile Ordering App comes in.

Now before we get into Mobile Apps, lets do a simple "Thought Experiment".

How many trips to a table does a waiter need to make for a single course meal? Well the waiter first has to take the menu, they then return to take the order, one more trip to take the food, another to clear the table, yet another when called over to be asked to pay the bill, another trip when they take the bill and finally many waiters make a final trip to take payment when the customer has indicated they are ready to pay. That is a staggering 7 trips per table!

Now let us think about this same waiter and how he would operate if his customer placed the ord…

So how might you start selling more? Well it’s all about your shops sales and attracting more customers. Today the fastest growing trend for customers is online ordering. Online ordering now accounts for over 50% of all orders placed into UK restaurants and takeaways. If your not online your missing out on vital customers, and hence those extra trips to your cash and carry. Most businesses take to using a Food Portal, someone like Just Eat or Deliveroo. These can work but they are expensive, they take between 20–35% of…
